Vacationing
I've had the pleasure of visiting Sarawak Bumi Kenyalang several days ago, and I'll say I've had a pleasurable journey with some memorable memories.
Now I shall spare you good people of the fine boring details, but instead reveal the facts that I've found rather interesting about Sarawak, & Kuching in particular (since I'm there).
1. I've found no Mamak stalls, or restaurants throughout my visit there, even after visiting nearly half of the town on foot. The Indian population there are also scarce. That means no Teh Tarik or Roti Canai for the 3 days I was there. :P
2. People there are exceptionally polite, more so in their driving. They have the ability to drive slowly without much cursing, and does not race to beat traffic lights like their counterparts in West Malaysian states.
3. This could be wrong, but Kuching seems to be lacking of hot chicks. However, the tourist guide claims that the kids as a product of mixed marriage between the different ethnics there produces beautiful kids. Perhaps they're all away, enjoying their holiday or something.
4. I've discovered pepper sweets, but they're in no way superb. Edible, but not superb.
5. They have a Golden Triangle too.
6. The cyber cafes there closes early. And I mean really early. Like 5.00 P.M in the evening. Yikes!!!
7. There is a row of shops on this street, where every 2 shops apart will be a souvenier shop. That makes it like..gazillions of souvenier shops!!!
I shall add more later, if I can think of more. And I'll probably give a daily account of my experience there, especially on the tourist attractions. Pictures will be up when I have broadband connection.
